Abstract

The integration of information science into financial management has become a significant development in modern financial systems. This study aims to examine the role of information technology, big data, artificial intelligence, and information systems in improving decision-making quality, risk management, and operational efficiency in the financial sector. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive literature review with thematic analysis of relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that the application of information science enhances financial analysis accuracy, strengthens reporting transparency, and supports innovation in financial services. However, challenges such as data security, data quality, and the need for skilled human resources remain major obstacles. In conclusion, the integration of information science significantly contributes to the transformation of modern financial management into a more effective, efficient, and data-driven system.
